Back From Summer Holiday!
I had a blast this last week with a small vacation. I visited many of my friends driving around in my much loved Mini Cooper S. From Stavanger to Bergen, to Geilo, to Oslo and back again to Stavanger. Thank you everybody for a great time and I really looking forward to see you again.
I really enjoyed meeting up with the guys from The Marketing Vikings in Oslo. They have really done some huge changes in their life and are really starting to smell the success of Internet Marketing. They have both quit their day job and are focusing 100% on their own business. They are about to sell everything they own as well, apartments, car and a mc. They are taking the extra step to enjoy a lifestyle of traveling around and making money on the road. Any day now they are moving over from Norway to USA where they will meet up with many of the people they have trained over the past year. I can’t see anything stopping these guys right now it’s so cool to follow them. Want more inside info about them? Go and read the latest copy of the “Inner Circle Newsletter” for a lot of cool content and the latest news from Marius and Ole Johnny at The Marketing Vikings.
So what else is new? Well, I used this whole day to update my blog with the latest WordPress version. There where also 9 new updates to several plugins that I use. I have a mixed feelings with updating plugins all the time. I feel that the updates are coming to often. But again I guess it’s for the best that they always get updated and more secure, but it seams like once a week I need to update one of my plugins again and stuff like that take time. Maybe I need to use more time to setup the option for automatically update plugins. Does anyone use that future? Let me know in the comments.
I installed a kick ass plugin today though. It’s from Odiogo.com and it’s a little button that reads your entire blogpost for you. So if you are a multitasker, you can click on my blog, find a post that interest you and then click Read This, and move on. A compute voice will read the blog post for you.
So every time I make a new blog post, the rss feed is sent to Odiogo.com and they convert it into voice and send back a mp3 and player to my blog post. It works fantastic! Hope you like it.
The last thing I did on the blog today was to add my Twitter Rss Feed on my right side of the blog. Now you can read my latest twitter tweets directly on my blog. It doesn’t update as often as I would like to, so maybe I have to change it with a widget or something. What do you think?
Talk to you soon!
