Get The Most Out Of Google Analytics Now
It’s about time to use Google Analytics for what it’s worth. I have always known the importance of tracking the traffic on all my website and projects. I automagically install Google Analytics on all my sites too but I must admit, other then getting the traffic count I didn’t know what to use the rest of the numbers for.
Google Analytics is still free to use and it’s still one of the most powerful analytic tools for the web out there, so why not learn to use it and get the most out of it?
If you are one of those that uses Google Adsense as your part time income you are also in for a treat. Google Analytics will show you how to monitor what people read on your page so that you can preform way better with adsense ads on your site.
So head over to Smashing Magazine to get the complete Guide to Google Analytics and Useful Tools now!

I am not convinced by Google Analytics personally. I still use third party software to do my web hit analysis for me. Being 3rd part takes it out of Google’s control, which is another possible advantage.
I absolutely see your point in using a 3rd party software. I myself use Analytics and a Wordpress plugin for hits. I also have another hit tracker software and I’m amazed that I get 3 different results every day on my daily visitor count.
Anyway, my article was more about how much more you can get out of analytics then the average user really know of. And also the importance of actually tracking your visitors throughout your website so you can learn what you do right and wrong with your sites.
